The most recognizable character features must be preserved while complex artwork is converted into sewable, assemblable and inspectable construction. Sampling aligns body proportion, facial placement, principal colors, outfit layers and accessory attachment before pre-production standards are set.

MOQ EXPLAINED
Why is the typical MOQ 500–1,000 pieces?
It is not a fixed threshold for every product. It is the typical range at which most custom projects can reasonably absorb their setup costs.
MOQ follows the product plan, not the total quantity alone.
Fabric and trim sourcing, pattern making, embroidery programming, cutting and line setup, packing preparation and quality checks all create work before bulk production begins. Exact MOQ depends on size, materials, craft, style count, quantity per style, packing and order terms.
Size and construction
Dimensions, panel count and 3D structures affect material use and production time.
Fabric and trims
Special colors, pile lengths, filling and accessories may each have sourcing minimums.
Style allocation
At the same total volume, many small runs require more setup than one concentrated style.
Craft and packing
Embroidery, print, outfits, hang cards and boxes add separate preparation steps.

SAMPLING TERMS
When does sampling start, and how are fees and revisions approved?
Before sampling, we align the artwork version, dimensions, material direction, key craft, color reference, accessories, packing goal and the person responsible for feedback.
A typical first sample takes about seven days. Complex construction, special materials or parallel styles are assessed separately.
The actual fee reflects size, construction, fabric, embroidery, accessories and sample quantity. Sample freight is confirmed separately.
Further revisions are RMB 100 each unless the written quotation states otherwise.
The amount or percentage must be stated in writing.

EXPORT & CONFIDENTIALITY
How are testing needs handled for the U.S., Japan and South Korea?
Before quotation, specify the destination, intended age, use, material construction, accessories, labels, packing and buyer requirements. Applicable standards, laboratory, test samples, cost and timing are confirmed in writing for each project.
United States
Projects commonly review ASTM F963, 16 CFR Part 1250 and applicable lead, phthalate, small-parts and tracking-label rules. Applicable products for children 12 and under generally involve testing by a CPSC-accepted laboratory and a CPC.
Japan
First determine whether the product is a designated toy under the Food Sanitation Act and review relevant material requirements. Buyer- or channel-requested ST Standard or ST Mark needs are confirmed separately.
South Korea
Projects commonly review the Special Act on the Safety of Children's Products, the Common Safety Standard for Children's Products and the Toy Safety Standard to determine testing and Safety Confirmation needs.
Requirements can change with product construction, age grading and sales channel. The importer, brand owner and appropriately qualified third party should confirm the final clauses, certificate holder and compliance responsibility.

It can be assessed using panels, filling, embroidery or short-pile construction to balance appearance and production stability.
02Can several characters be developed together?
Yes. Establishing shared size, material and packing references first helps the series remain coherent.
03How are colors approved?
Fabric can be matched against design values and physical swatches. Screen and material colors differ, so the approved sample or swatch is the final reference.
04Can unreleased IP be kept confidential?
Yes. An NDA can define confidentiality, authorized contacts and the permitted use of project materials.
